"Teenage troubled skin" has me written all over it.. I've been using the tea tree toner for about two months now & it's really good at mattifying my skin & reducing blemishes but I also follow it up with the tea tree lotion which, although helps my skin, makes my skin feel tight & taught so I follow it up with Aveeno Dry Skin Moisturiser.

After using the Tea Tree wash and toner I use the aloe smoothing day cream. I cant use the Tea Tree day cream as its makes my skin dry and the night cream as its too strong for my face. I have combination skin - oily at the top half and dry lower half of my face. I believe aloe smoothing day cream is best.

I have the same problem, this range has been really good for my skin but it can be very harsh and made some areas quite dry so I picked up the seaweed mattifying moisture cream and it has really helped to clear up my skin. There was a noticeable difference the day after I used it for the first time. I would also recommend the facial wash.

I'd recommend the body shop tea tree lotion, and the night lotion too, theyre both slightly moisturising which is great for oily skin types but if you have dry skin you may need something richer. You say you have blemish prone skin like myself so the tea tree range will be fine for you, they're more targeted at reducing the oil on the skin and thus reducing spots than the other ranges. Hope this helps

I have suffered from spotty skin on and off since I was about 12 - it's been a nightmare and really can affect your confidence! I've tried a huge variety of medication including nasty anti-antibiotics and harsh creams - although recently I heard that Tea Tree Oil is a natural antibiotic and went a bit crazy with bday money in the Body Shop range of Tea Tree facial foaming cleanser, toner, lotion, pore mini-miser and blemish gel and it made my skin look and feel clearer within days. I have stopped all skin medication and am just sticking to a routine of these products because my skin is reacting so well to it. I would definitely recommend the whole range to anyone suffering from acne/breakouts. Also get your skin in the sun - it really helps!

i use both, as recommended by one of their advisors. the face wash first and then the foamer. i thought that this might just be a sales pitch, but since using the foamer on top of the face wash (previously only used the face wash) i have noticeably less oil on my t-zone. im impressed. now i also use the tea tree clearing lotion for moisturising (i used to use seaweed), and it keeps me looking more matte than i did when using seaweed

The facial wash was more recommended to me by a Body Shop advisor since it's a deeper clean and works faster. However, if you want a more gentle approach then go for the foaming cleanser.

I was actually using the same Dermalogica products but am now using the TT facial wash, then seaweed cleanser, then TT toner. I know you posted this nearly a year ago but thought this might help you anyways. I have noticed such a major difference and have only been using a few days !!!

My skin is combination and I use this range daily but the areas of my face which sometimes become dry are made worse by using some of the products in this range. When I use the seaweed moisture products these problems go away though. It does really help to clear up my skin. So maybe you could try it but not without a moisturiser as well.

answer 2
You can use tea tree products on dry skin but I'd recommend you use a rich moisturiser if you're going to use the wash/toner and day/night lotions, as tea tree strips the skin of oil which prevents spots/blemishes so if you already have dry skin then you will need to replenish it even more so whilst using these products, otherwise you will just get more blemishes as the skin may produce more oil to compensate for even less moisture.

Question

Is it ok to use the Tea Tree line at night to treat my acnes and blemishes and use the Vitamin C line in the morning to brighten my skin?

Well blemishes and dull skin have always been my problems and I just want to know whether I can incorporate both lines into my skin care routine to treat both problems. I have read that it's OK to use two kinds of facial wash at the same time, but we're talking about (almost) the whole line here.

Thank you very much in advance

Hi Thuy, I had the same problem than you. And I say HAD, because I started using almost the whole Tea Tree line about 6 months ago, in a desperate try to make my skin look clearer. I didn't use any other product than Tea Tree oil every night (essential), face wash morning and night and moisturizing lotion every morning. My skin improved and now I barely have any spots (well, or I have them but the go away really quickly thanks to the desinfectant properties of the Tea Tree). You will see how you skin will look brighter without need to use anything else, even makeup.
I would suggest you to just use the Tea Tree range, and if your skin gets better maybe start using the Vitamin C serum (I got if a few weeks ago, and among the Tea Tree line is working well so far).
Hope it helps! :)

It's an essential oil so you can use it with a carrier oil for whatever you want to use it for - whether skin or hair.
For instance, I add a few drops of tea tree oil in a spray bottle with some water and a carrier oil and I spray my scalp with it to combat dry/itchy scalp.

Question

Blemishes and spots

I have been having spots from a young age, though they weren't as bad before, and recently i've been seeing blemishes, and acne, it's starting to annoy me much since i'm having to where make up to cover it, though preferably i want to stay away from it, i've been using the Tea Tree oil, cleansing lotion and blemish gel for more than 3 weeks, though i'm not seeing much results, if anyone would recommend anything that is likely to work in this space of time, it would be greatly appreciated

Thanks
