I have used the warming mask for over 4 years now. I have always used the Body Shop products as part of my skin routine since 1994. I must say that the warming clay mask is my favourite product. I use it once a week. I am in my late 30's now but my skin feels soft and looks younger.

All you have to do, is rub a suitable amount into the skin on your face, avoiding your eyes and mouth. Depending on what mask it is, you should leave it on for a certain time, usually it's about 15mins. Then wipe, or wash it off.
Hope this helps!

Hi, the Warming Mineral Mask is a lovely relaxing product to have. You dampen your skin and apply the mask, (use about a 50p size dollop in your hand to start). Spread it over your forehead, temples, nose, cheeks, chin and neck. Avoid the eye area so I tend to follow the top of the cheek bone. As the warming mineral mask comes in contact with the damp skin it starts warming up on it's own, it's lovely to lie back in and relax. Go for the half cucumbers on the eye lids, soft music and candles for full relaxing effect! Rinse away with water and pat dry to finish.

Question

What can I do to reduce the appearance of acne scars?

My skin is acne prone. But since I started using tea tree facial wash and lotion, my acne was reduced dramatically. Unfortunately, after years of having acne, it left scars. Is there a product there which can reduce or at least lighten the appearance of scars? By the way, I am a 40 something male.

I cannot recommend healgel enough. I have rosacea which causes a lot of swelling and acne like scars and has done for many years. It is expensive but one pot lasts a very long time and I noticed a difference in my skin after just one week!

I found the tea tree range to be very effective, especially the lotion as it keeps my skin matt all day. I would start off with the face wash and the lotion i have acne and have found it does calm it down well. Also dont forget to exfolitate once a week, this makes your shin feel and look a bit fresher, i know having wideheads it can sometimes feel abit of an oil slick at times
hope the helps

I'd definately stick with the seaweed range for combination skin as some of the tea tree products can be quite drying. The seaweed products are just as great for clearing up spots though but will be much gentler on your skin- and smells much better! :) Hope this helps

You can use facial cleansers on the rest of your body, because i do and no irritation occurs whatsoever, but it might be my skin type. But i would recommend using it on the parts of your body that have the 'problems' mentioned on the facial cleanser. e.g: if it was for oily/greasy skin i would use it on my back or neck or wherever i feel is oily.
Hope this helps :)

Question

Which face wash should i use for acne?

Hey, if your skin is really oily and you suffer from lots of spots I would go for a few products in the Tea Tree range. Maybe the face wash, toner, a moisturiser and if you really want to help your spots the Tea Tree Oil? You could just dab a few drops of that onto your spots and it would really help sooth and remove them. If you need anymore help you could always go into your local store and have a skin consultation? Its free and they might be able to help a lot more as they can see what your skin is really like. Hope that helps you!

It would be between the seaweed or tea tree ranges, the tea tree is good for fighting spots and oilyness but as your only 13 you wouldnt want to use too much of that range i would say something like the facial wash or foaming faical wash maybe every other day, or just when you breakout perhaps, this will help keep ontop of the spots. And maybe use the seaweed facial wash in between time as this is more gentle but will help balance oils on the skin. Tea Tree oil is good to use on particular breakouts too overnight when your skin relaxes and repairs itself.

I use the Vitamin E product range in the winter as my skin needs the extra care and attention from the cold and wind, and I use the moisturiser mask if my skin feels chapped or dry. I don't use it too often as I have oily skin and don't want to make that worse. The seaweed exfoliator is great if you have slightly spotty skin - it's also very refreshing. I'm in my 30s and both these products suit my combination skin type.

Try using the body brush on DRY skin before a bath or shower.Use stroking motions towards the heart to get circulation going. After a while if you feel you need an extra "kick" use a body scrub for dry skin eg. cocoa butter, brazil nut or shea butter on damp skin, again towards the heart for circulation.Top it off with a body butter and you will have pins that Elle Macpherson would die for!
