No shampoo is best for curly hair. I have extreme curly locks which thrive on natural oils.. I use plenty of hair conditioner mind. My hair only gets washed about 3 times a year and is much worse for it. Maybe give it a go?

Hey there I have really curly hair... think Leona Lewis...(don't know if yours is that curly) but I find the best shampoo and condition by far is the Banana shampoo and conditioner. :)
It depends on what you mean by chemicals; every ingredient in everything is a chemical. All the shampoos in the Rainforest ranges do not contain parabens, silicones or colourants. They're 100% biodegradable, therefore very safe for the environment, but I'm not sure what "safe" would mean for humans.
Yes! I have natural afro hair and I use the Rainforest moisture range. I regularly co-wash with the conditioner and follow-up with the hair butter which leaves my hair lovely and soft. I also use the shampoo infrequently. I also love the Beeswax texturising wax for when I plait or twist my hair, I always get amazing results.

Do your shampoos and conditioners contain sulphates?
I too have a very itchy scalp with the added problem of excema at times. I find that the Ginger shampoo calms the itch and it is great shampoo too.I have thick curly and coloured hair. I am so glad that they started making this shampoo again after a break of many years, I really missed it.
I don't like using silcone / methicone. The curl booster was fantastic, and I used to stock up. But now my stockpile is depleted and I go to refill the drawer - and it's gone. Miracle oil is quite good, but a bit short of miraculous. Any recommendations for alternative products without silicone/methicone please?
